It’s pretty rare that you’ll find a completely flat piece of land. We never have. All land has it’s peaks and troughs no matter how flat you think it is. So is it correct to only draw it on a flat piece of paper in 2D?

In fact, we stick by our thoughts and issue every Topographical Survey or Land Survey in a 3D BIM-Ready Format. It’s our little way of encouraging the use of BIM (Building Information Modelling) from day 1 of every project.

Can you carry out a measured building survey too?

We just need a good idea of the overall levels of a large site?
A Full topographical survey in this case may not be what you need and may overspend your budget. If you have a large area you need capturing and an inital smaller budget during early phases of your project. Then a drone Survey might be more suitable. We can quickly capture massive areas while still picking out accurate levels and lots of detail with our Drones.
We need levels and sections across a water course, can you help?
Yes we can. Our team of land surveyors have a lot of experience dealing with measured surveys to suit flood risk assessments. Whether it is a small stream with a few culverts, or a wide river with bridges we can help.
What's better? A traditional physical Topographical Survey, a Laser Scanning Survey or a Drone Survey?
